At ENRSUR, our solutions have been designed to work best for larger projects.
It all started in 2011 at a conference for wind farm operators organised by WPO. Guilhem de Saint André, who by that time had already been an insurance broker specialising in renewable energy for several years, was in the room.
He was immediately struck by the tempo and the inherent quality of the discussions. So he went on to pursue them separately with Barthélemy Rouer, the founder and president of WPO.
From the beginning, it seemed unlikely the connection would ever be broken between these two.
Guilhem, whose career was advancing, ran a department at a leading broker dedicated to renewable energy, which he was restructuring and further developing. He recruited Marine Guillemin to his team as an account manager. The result was an effortless, highly fruitful collaboration, thanks to the sharing of knowledge by one and the understanding and professionalism of the other.
In 2021, Marine and Guilhem decided to create a "next generation" firm, offering a range of brokerage services dedicated entirely to renewable energy professionals. The objective: to free their clients from tedious tasks and allow them to focus their energy on what matters most.
How? By providing a simple and transparent digitised service where every routine task is guided by one of the team’s experts. They then developed customised content, designed to be transparent, simple, and complete.
Barthélemy contacted them as soon as their project was created, offering to supply his personal expertise and experience in information systems, data processing, and digitalisation.
It was from this obvious synergy between Guilhem and Marine's project, on the one hand, and the experience and the IT resources supplied by WPO, on the other, that their partnership was born.
In 2021, the project came to life. ENRSUR began operations in 2022, just a few months later.
ENRSUR’s management and business policy remain independent of WPO. Their information systems are also separate but have the same requirements in terms of availability and security.
